Rules & Regulations for Admission to two year D.El.Ed. course in the session 2016-18.

A candidate applying for admission to the two year D.El.Ed. course in our college :
1) Should be an Indian citizen.
2) Should pass the H.S.(+2) examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/Council/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. There is however, a relaxation of 5% marks for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH/Ex-serviceman categories. Where there is no aggregate marks, 50%/45% of the total of the best five scores excluding EVS for eligibility will be counted.
3) Should not be above 35 years of age (40 years of age for (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PH) as on 01.07.2015.
Note 1: This upper age limit is not applicable for the in-service teachers, appointed before 03.09.2001.
Note 2: Ex-serviceman candidates shall get the benefit of age relaxation as per rules.
4) Must have studied the language at the Higher Secondary level as a compulsory subject for which medium of instruction he/she will be applying for admission.
5) For Vocational-course-pass applicants :
i) 4% of the seats shall be earmarked for applicants coming from the Vocational Course(+2) under any Board/University/Council or its equivalent, regardless of categories.
ii) Such Vocational-course-pass applicants must have studied at least two
language including English at the +2 stage.
iii) Such Vocational-course-pass applicants should score at least 50% marks at the +2 stage.
iv) Such Vocational-course-pass applicants, however, shall not be eligible for
other seats under any condition of backwardness or physical disability.
6) Reservation of seats shall be made as per the State Government norms.
7) 10% of the total intake of a Private Institution shall be reserved under “Management Quota”. In case of such reservation, admission procedures and other terms & conditions for admission, as prescribed, should also be maintained strictly.
How to fill in the application form :
i) Applicant should use only ball point pen to fill in the application form. Overwriting or usage of white ink should be avoided.
ii) All prefixes like Mr., Mrs., Sri., Smt. etc. should be strictly avoided while filling the names.
iii) Date of birth of the applicant should be in the form of DD/MM/YYYY.
iv) The applicant should tick (√) in the appropriate boxes.
v) Applicants may mention their higher qualification, if any. But no marks for Higher
Qualification.
i) The applicant should put his/her full signature in English.
ii) The applicant should paste his/her recent passport size (3.5 cms × 4.5 cms)
photograph in the space provided. Attestation of photograph of the applicant must be done by the applicant himself/herself by signing.
iii) Other attestation/certification should be done by a Group ‘A’ officer or the
Headmaster of a recognized high school.
Mode of Selection :
i) In order of Merit on the basis of the percentage of the marks obtained at the Higher Secondary Examination (+2 state) calculated.
Course Fee :
i) Course fee shall be made as per the State Government norms.
Availability of Forms :
ii) Information Booklet-cum-Application Form shall be available immediately after the Advertisement/Notification of the WBBPE, on payment of Rs. 300.00 (Rs. 150.00 for SC/ST/PH) by cash.
iii) Last Date of Submission of Application Form : June 18, 2015 till 4 pm.
iv) Session would be started from July, 2015.
